Default Deal is a multi-year deal with a $3.5 million signing bonus

ESPN.com is now reporting that the Adam Vinatieri has received an offer that is a multi-year deal with a signing bonus of $3.5 million. According to the report there is still some work to be done on the contract, but it could be completed by Tuesday night.

the pats wouldve matched but we wont know because they never deal in the media.not letting the pats of the hook but we never know what discussions went on and if adam even wanted to be here. the fact that he changed agents showed his desparation today to get out of new england.
