Agree. The offense was varied and disciplined. Cassel eas careful with the ball and the play calling was imaginative.

Kind of like The first few years with young Tom Brady. Cassel had trouble hitting the long ball to Moss., but still threw great in the stretch.

345 yds against Arizona, 7 different receivers.

Without "stretching" the field. Field has width as well as length...

Considering the Saints are the only team to beat us "convincingly", I find it pretty hard to envision the 2008 Patriots team achieving that.

Talk about useless speculation! But I'd take Tommy over Matt in a showdown game any day of the week. I bet he'd love to throw into what passed for our secondary last year.

There is something to be said for having a QB that can roll out and boot leg. Adds a new dimension in the offense...a dimension the Pats won't see with Brady.
