Default Law Firm (BJGE) ran pretty well yesterday too

I think he is going to be someone in this league. He runs hard and upfield.

if he keeps it up, i believe we wont have sammy next year

instead of going out and signing the anual FA OLD rb, well have BJ...who does similar things

if im not mistaken, fred was signed for 2 years....

so next year it will be

Maroney,
FRed
BJ
Faulk

it will be both faulk's and fred's last years in the NFL....we would prob draft a rb in 2 years

I was more happy with him executing his blocking assigments. He picked them all up. Vast improvement.

We want Faulk to last as long as possible. There is just no other player that does what he does. He is truly a 3rd down specialist.

Played 2 more snaps than LoMo, had close to 10 YPC average, had some very nice blocks and was in on the flea-flicker. Say what you want, but they certainly have confidence in the kid and now he's getting his chances and maximizing them.

You're taking "they have confidence in him" from them playing him in a 59-0 blow out? Maroney took the snaps when they still meant something.

Did you happen to watch the game? BJGE was in pretty early on. I get that you can't give the guy any respect but at least get a bit real, k?

Not to mention they need to see what they have in BJGE should Morris be out for an extended period.

I haven't exactly been high on the kid in the past, but he played awfully well yesterday. Granted, not until the blowout was well in hand, but I don't buy that it was all the weather and the Titans' D. The Titans were excellent against the run going into yesterday's game, and it apparently never occurred to the DC to go all-out against the pass (they never stopped single-covering Moss, which I guess explains how Brady got 5 TDs in the second quarter...).

Maroney and BJGE both ran extremely well behind an offensive line that was plowing the way for them, which just suggests to me that it was the offensive line that worked out the kinks and got things turned around. Vollmer and Mankins were crushing guys out there.

I wouldn't read anything into him getting more carries than Maroney, though- once the game was out of hand, Maroney came out simply because the Pats can't afford to lose him. When you only have 1 of your 3 feature RBs left, you're not going to waste him in blowout wins like that. BJGE was there to pick up the remaining carries, but he showed an awful lot in doing it well.
