Default Fred Taylor vs. Maroney

Taylor is better than Maroney. Taylor rushed 100 yards while Maroney couldn't come close.

Why do we have 2 different results when they run behind the same OL?

If we want to improve our running game, Maroney is not the answer.

I think it is terrible that if we want to rate a thread we have to give at least one star.

That’s what we always do, and I think the last nine years we’ve put a pretty competitive team out there on the field every year. I think that’s how you do it – you get good football players. Sometimes they are not always at the No. 1 position, but I don’t think you pass up good football players to get the guys who aren’t as good just because they’re at a position that somebody feels you need.”

Did anyone watch the series premier of Flash Forward?

Yeah I had to go one star too. If we want to talk about the running game fair enough but not with this thread title.

Yah. Kinda interesting but I'm not sure how well the writers will handle it. What did the April 2010 papers say about Maroney's 2009 rushing yardage?

Unfortunately, nobody got to see the sports pages. It would be a great way to get rich, though.

i agree with the OP. this is the 600lb elephant in the room, isnt it?

maroney is MUCH less effective than Taylor, or Morris, or Faulk. he hasnt broken a tackle his entire career. and its just too hard to make guys miss in the NFL. if he had any value, we should unload him.
