Man, there is no conflict. I also have the Jets D and hope for a big fat zero.

Fantasy football is fun but let's get our priorities straight.

The really bad one was the 3rd and 15 that went for a first down. We blitzed right through it, you could tell we were in trouble right off. It happens, though.

Finally, our WIN has proven to me that the dynasty is over. We won so badly that we can't possibly expect to beat a team that was 9-7 last year, fired their coach, have a rookie QB. Rex Ryan has a 1.000 winning percentage. I can only hope the game doesnt come down to coaching because our guy clearly proved to us last week he has lost it, and is incompetant.
All these years our defense really sucked, but the statistics and wins were smoke and mirrors. On top of that Richard Seymour was the whole defense, and we are the worst defense in the NFL without him.
I expect the Jets to win the next 15 SBs, how could I not after the way they dismantled those incredible Texans last week. And I'm looking forward to 2012 when we can maybe have rebuilt our entire roster and maybe win a game.
Wow, I feel better. I'm just going to keep repeating....we suck, we suck, we suck....then I'll feel wonderful

Obviously I want the Patriots to win but I wouldn't mind for Keller/Washington to have a big game in the process.

Whatever, man. I want zeros across the board for anyone I have against the Patriots.

17 points (7 points were from the interception return) against a team with two legitimate number 1 NFL receivers (Owens and Evans), who collectively totalled 5 receptions for 71 yards and a whopping 276 yards of total offense. Add to that a Pats offense which, if it had not sputtered in the first half, could have put the Bills in a predictable passing/come from behind mode in which the Pats appeared to be getting to the QB. I will not say the game was perfect by any stretch, but it was pretty clear what the defensive coordinator was doing.

In light of these considerations, I agree, and hope the Jets do not put up 200 yards of passing if the Pats shut down the Jets running game as the secondary will return to being the Achilles heel of the defense next week in discussions on the board. It's like the Patriots never employed the "bend don't break" defense in the 2003 or 2004 seasons and gave up substantial yardage in games during the best defensive years.

Yea that one was bad...

I'll take a 4-10 on 3rd down any day- maybe less would be better.
But red zone D and making stops when stops need to be made is the calling card of a good D. I LOVED the pressure they put on Edwards on the last drive. Ears pinned back..Beautiful.

IMO we handle the blitz we win this game. TB & Co. need to come to play EARLY and put up the points. That's how we neutralize their running game and pressure the rook to have to match our scoring. That's the kind of pressure that will force the critical mistakes and make this one a laugher by the 4th quarter.

I think Cotchery is the understated player that needs to be stopped. I would seriously double him as in T.O.. I am more afraid of him than T.O. Look what he has done to us in the past. We can't let Keller get a clean release and we spy on little Leon.
Keys to win.

I agree. Trouble is - handling the blitz. It looked VERY GOOD in week 1. If our OL shows up we got this game.
