As much of a punk as a I think Merrimen is, I think it's more likely that he had to restrain a drunk chick that was bafooning and trying to drive home, than trying to hurt her.

If however she has bruising on her neck, he's ****ed. A 250+ pound dood would have NO trouble restraining a rather large woman, nevermind a sub 5' hottie, likely leaving no markings except bruising on the biceps (Ask any cop). If this case isn't dropped very quickly, there is something to it, but likely it was just drunk chick bafooning.
