I'd be scared spitless if Vollmer was replacing Kac or Light! Seriously scared. If Vollmer was a second year player I'd have him on my "disappointment" list. He flashes some solid talent, but he's slow out of his stance, slow getting out into screens and on pulls, and is raw, raw, raw. If I was confident he could clear waivers I'd try to land him on the Practice Squad.
That said, he shows promise, but he's at least a year away from being #3 Tackle. Depending on how fast he learns he might take some game reps in the second half, I'd expect him to be a game day inactive. If LeVoir remains on PUP then Britt would be my choice for #3 OT. Britt did not get many reps in the game, but he made O'Callaghan and Vollmer look slow and raw, the combo block he and Wendell executed on O'Connell's first snap was a thing of beauty.
