Missing two weeks of two-a-days won't hurt Warren at all, but for Crable, it's a big loss after being injured for most of his rookie year. We're maybe looking at yet another lost year for him. Don't be surprised if he gets "injured" again and ends up on IR for the season.
Well, its a good thing the rest of us can count because Crable hasn't missed two weeks of two-a-days. He missed eight days of camp. To write him off because of that is just plain silliness on your part.
There is still 4 weeks and many many more practices to go. Will Crable be starting? No. But don't be surprised to see him in the rotation.

I bow to your hyper-postage fueled superior accounting skills. But the point remains, Crable is *way* behind in reps.
Warren has been playing great, and really shuts down the run on his side. He played through tough injuries last year - if he is back to his abilities of two years ago, it will be very difficult to run on the Pats off his side.
Crable is important to the future of the defense. Missing eight or nine days sets him back, but with Burgess he clearly drops down a spot on the depth chart, and has the room to develop over the next couple months. Hopefully he will be contributing in October and November.
Wilhite apparently came back Friday. With Crable and Warren in, that adds a lot of depth. Hopefully Seymour is in the same 'close' camp that Belichick referenced.

Missing first 8 days of summer camp = gone for the year

That’s what we always do, and I think the last nine years we’ve put a pretty competitive team out there on the field every year. I think that’s how you do it – you get good football players. Sometimes they are not always at the No. 1 position, but I don’t think you pass up good football players to get the guys who aren’t as good just because they’re at a position that somebody feels you need.”

Yes, he is behind. But so are all the others that were on the PUP or whom haven't practiced since camp started. Crable will be down on the depth chart, so his being behind shouldn't hamper him that much. Personally, I didn't expect him to be contributing on a full time basis until mid-season because he was behind from missing last season.
Excellent news. I was getting terrified with both Warren and Seymour missing two-a-days. Even though Burgess should start, I'm excited to see what Crable can do with the playing time he is given this year.
