Tedy Bruschi and Jerod Mayo say, "Hi".

I've always liked Sanders. He is a tough smart kid, his only issue, especially early on, was bad angles. Or at least that is what I always thought. But the angle thing has been an on going thing, and for that, I believe his biggest issue is not computing angles, but speed. He lacks it and IMO that will limit him to a 3rd/in the box safety. Obviously he is the starter as of now, but BB was unusually high on Chung today. I believe Sanders is simply keeping the seat warm for Chung.

The latter is where the Patriots excel and that is the reason why we win/contend year in and year out!

I agree. Sanders isn't that bad, but he certainly isn't anything special. It's only a matter of time before Chung unseats Sanders because of his hitting ability and high motor.

Oh I completely agree. I'm just saying it would be a rare and unlikely achievement for Chung to displace Sanders so soon, it would be saying *a lot* if he did. Mayo was a once-in-a-decade type pick on our defense, the mature beyond his years player who did everything right, stepped in immediately, and produced like a vet by season's end.
