You wasted a perfectly good chance to spin the title with "Farley"... where's the misleading title !!???!?! No references to SNL or David Spade ?

I wish writers would stop treating cap like salary, and understand the difference.

There should be a football journalist test whereby if a writer must show understanding that cap is an accounting number only, and clever use of accounting can lower the cap for three years and balloon it at the end of a deal.

While they are at it, they could leave about incentives, and how if a player like Green meets incentives in 2007 and 2008, it could increase his 2009 salary by $1.2 mil.

At least this guy didn't suggest that the Pats save $5 mil by cutting Green like FLeger did on the Loonie TV show.
