Gonna vote for Chung, after the long thread about what we can expect of him in March, on paper he looks the best...
Not much more we can go on, until September or maybe December...

I wonder how you figured he has lost a step. In the down the field in screen plays for faulk and wr bubble screens futher down then mankins and koppen. In plays we pull a OL he is the only OL who can pull as again he is faster than mankins and koppen.
Voll is not going be able to do the above as with size and height he is going to loss the quick feet and to squeze between the center and gaurd on pulling plays.
why do you hate all the WR ,RB bubble screens and OL pulling runs.we seem to do good i do not understand you want to get less effective.
If you know anything about the O-line you would know that the LT is your anchor tackle. You want a guy there that is big strong and does have good footwork to protect the qb's backside. You don't have to run a 4.4 to play LT. Look at some of the stud OT's in the NFL. You had Ogden (Huge Anchor), you have Pace (Huge Anchor), Mckinnie (Huge Anchor), Walter Jones (Huge Anchor). They purposely have those guys playing LT. The RT position is better suited for someone a little more athletic that they can pull and lead screens with. that is all I am saying. I have played LT for 6 years now including college and Semi-pro ball. I am 6'7" 360lbs and have pretty good feet. In case you ask I didn't make it to any combines because I blew my knee out, tore some ligaments in my shoulder and have a couple herniated discs in my back. I do have a sense for what I am talking about from experience.

While I agree with your point as a general practice in the NFL, Coach Scarnecchia has worked on building both sides the same. Light and Kaczur are very similar players, the same with Mankins and Neal. Dante runs Tackle-pulling plays and he gets his Tackles upfield blocking on bubble screens and such regularly. That said, Welcome! I hope you'll find time during the season to post your analysis of the line play so we can discuss and compare (I was a 120 lb. two-way G in high school a few decades back so my analytical approach is mostly self taught and I love it when someone more current and experienced pitches in to edjumacate me.)

'PAT' the chung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got high hopes for this kid not only for his college record, but for the heart he has at ever snap. Don't think he'll be productive like last year DROY Jerod Mayo, but certainly will put a dent at every receiver who dares go in the middle.

I really think you have the two positions mixed up.
Pace, Ogden, and Jones, at their peak, were the best ATHLETES on the field. IIRC, Ogden was a pretty good power forward. When they say a guy "looks like hes a RT" when they're talking the combine, its because he doesn't move well.
RT tends to be gigantic guys who are good at run drive blocking, while LT tends to need the agile guy.

You worried he'll kiss you? That was Namath, the OL usually just drip on you.
