Didn't hear any of that ... disappointing if your instinct is correct. The guy played better at OLB fresh from the UPS store than Woods did with a whole TC under his belt.

Always liked Colvin; he was one of the few guys on D the last few years that played with a visible emotion and intensity. Plus, he was/is a playmaker. I have no doubt he would have wrapped up Eli on that fateful play ...

I wonder why the Patriots were in such a hurry to cut Rudd

and Robertson? They found suitors very quickly. At the least,

they would have provided a little depth for training camp.

I went with "none, please explain". Isn't in possible that N.E. will pick up somebody whose been cut early in camp? I know that isn't ideal, but with teams having to sign their rookies, isn't it likely a better option MIGHT be out there if the Pats are patient? I realize that has already happened with a couple playes (Brooks, JT, Foote) but it's still early enough in the offseason for it to happen again. BTW, I also heard Colvin on Dale and Holley and I'd be shocked if he comes back to play the way he spoke.

Napoleon Harris. Big (6'3" 255#) ILB who has had several solid seasons behind him, including over 100 tackles for KC in 2007. Would add depth at ILB along with Mayo and Guyton.

At OLB I'd consider taking a shot at trading for Jarvis Moss if his contract could be reworked to a more cap-friendly deal.

Jarviss Moss would be great but I dont think that Denver would give him up being that he was drafted in 2007. What do you think it would take to get him off their hands?

I love it how people want Willie Mcginnist back.. Here was a guy, who had 2 good seasons under Parcells, then was missing in action with inj and other issuies when he signed that 5 year 25 million dollar contract.. Then Belichick came back and put him on the expansion list for the texans, he came back and had ok seasons, espically 03 the indy game, and 05 jax game.. But he is a lazy ass, and did nothing in Cleveland and prob wont be back, but he was not the greatest lb in pats history.. ok , but not great..
