I have my alarm set for the last week in July.

The patriots activity over the next two months will be easily included in one relative short catch-up post on July 6th after the holiday weekend.

I'm sure we'll find stuff to talk about, again and again and again.

I'm sure the mods will be more liberal about off-topic posts. After all, a couple of days ago we had an extensive discussion of Tibetan Buddhism!

I have a topic to discuss....

How can I get my famed jersey to not buckle at the numbers? It hangs on an acrylic rod and the numbers below the name are starting to crease from the weight of the jersey. This is the first jeresy I have ever bought or framed for that matter. It is about 2 weeks old. The buckle started in the name and has since traveled down to the numbers.

I don't want to tape it down to anything and I just don't know where to start to look for answers.

How's about we discuss what a lousy backup Cassel will make if Tommy goes down...

I think you have to pin/tack it, at least most of the jerseys I've seen displayed like that are usually pinned to take all of the weight off the top. If that's TB's autograph, you're not gonna wear it anyway, so you might as well pin it. Also, while you're at it, you might as well invest a few bucks to make sure the glass is coated so the light doesn't discolor the jersey or dim the signature. Congrats on a nice collectible! If you're not going to display it, just fold it neatly and keep it in a dark, dry place.

I don't know where you live, but I'm sure you can find an autograph or collectibles shop that will give you some advice or do it for you. Here's a link to the one in NY where I bought a Beatles' autorgraphed picture. It has a signed Brady Jersey with special artwork for sale on the web page for $2,500. Welcome to Gotta Have It! Collectibles, Inc. Warning: if you go to the site, you might waste an hour or so there; some of the stuff is amazing. Check out the Tom Yawkey, signed letter for $4,500.

Thanks for the suggestion. I bought the jersey and frame from here

New England Patriots Jerseys, Patriots Official Jerseys, New England Patriots Replica Jerseys, Jerseys

I like and hate the case. It has a magnetic hinge. The back is plastic, the frame is wood and the glass is plexiglass. I had the logo etched in the glass, and the logo wasn't crisp so I covered it with colored vinyl.

Do you mean pin the jersey together front and back? Or pin it to the back of the case?

There isn't a collectibles place near me but we have standard framing places. I live 1 hour north of Denver and will be heading up there next month to a Broncos fan day. I want to get Gaffney, and Paxton's auto on some Pats stuff. I am planning on looking for somewhere to get it secured or a new frame so I can pick it up while I am in Denver.

Until Taylor is retired or signs with another team or Peppers signs his tender and back with the Panthers then this period of time is still very interesting, there are still some very good players on the open market that we could use for depth.
