Re: Patrick Chung signing signalling the end for Rodney Harrison?
I think the writing has been on the wall for a long time that Rodney wasn't coming back. With all due respect to Rodney Harrison, who has been one of the all time greats for us, age has caught up to Rodney. He's too slow and too injury prone. We need to move on. Meriweather/Chung/Sanders will hopefully be the nucleus of our safety group for the next 5+ years. I'm sad to say goodbye to Harrison, Vrabel and eventually Bruschi, but we aren't going to win any more championships with them.
I can't room on the roster for Rodney. I'd love to have him as a coach, though. Phenomenal player for us.
