Default Wright's salaries

2009 - 620,000
2010 -1,550,000
2011 -1,940,000
2012 -2,330,000

Because the increase in salary from 2010 to 2011 and from 2011 to 2012 is the same amount ($390,000) I believe that Wright will receive a $680,000 roster bonus in 2009 making his total compensation in 2009 $1.3 million. 30% of $1.3 million is $390,000.

Why a roster bonus? Is that just conjecture on your part, based on past contracts, or do you have information from another source?

Well, how many past contracts can you base it on? Miguel is filling in the blanks as to how the gap is filled between Wright's base salary and some other type of money such that the 2010 figure does not exceed the 2009 figure by more than 30%, which only applies to a contract extending into an uncapped year (2010).

Which is $1.9M. Couldn't the roster bonus theoretically be less, i.e. $465k ($1,550,000*.7=$1,085,000-620,000 (ignoring marginal effect of workout bonus)

Britt's is 1 year at $535k (min) per NFLPA, no surprises there.

No Galloway yet.

I also notice Wilfork's salary is listed as $2.2M for 2009 on NFLPA. He's listed at $2.3M currently.

Further, Mayo's salaries are as listed:

2008 --295000.00
2009 -- 500000.00
2010 -- 550000.00
2011 -- 700000.00
2012 -- 850000.00

He is at $2.25M right now.

Watson is at $910,000 NFLPA, $895,000 PatsCap.

D. Thomas and Le Kevin are at $535k NFLPA, $530k PatsCap.

Whoops, meant $1.69M, which is $1.3M (620,000+680,000) * 1.3, or as I understand it, the maximum increase 2009->2010 according to the 30% rule.

Was using $2.2m in my workbook but did not correct the page.
