Default DeAngelo Hall had Patriots visit scheduled

Sorry if this has been posted but I hadn't seen it. I just heard an interview with DeAngelo Hall on comcast Sportsnet. Apparently he signed just before free agency started but 30 minutes after he signed he received a text from the Patriots "trying to confirm his flight". It's the only other team he mentioned.

Ancient history/old news now, but for those (such as myself) who are curious which players the Patriots show interest in--add Hall to the tally.

He would have looked great in our defense but, alas, it was not to be.

Super talent, but $54 million? Wow, I would never give a 10 cent head like his that type of coin. He's got tremendous ability, and I'd have loved to see his energy & talent under the Patriots coaching staff, but not for that investment. He got $23 million guaranteed.

Makes me wonder who else has had visits scheduled - or has even had visits - and we were not aware.
