And are eligible for the hall of fame, who gets in first?

Since both #81s are now in the AFC East it brings up this poll

Please decide based on what you see as what the player has accomplished and NOT by the jersey he wears,otherwise its biased towards Moss and unfair so lets be neutral and all about the players career ONLY

There will be a backlash against both because of their problems, but TO faces a far bigger challenge getting in the HOF. He has damaged as many teams as he helped. WRs tend to have problems getting in the HOF to begin with (Art Monk, Cris Carter, Michael Irvin), but TO has far too many negatives against him causing huge problems for every team he has been on.

Besides, Moss has the single season TD record and has about 800 yards and 4 less TDs than Owens eventhough Owens has been in the league for two more years than Moss. That will help him in his quest for a HOF entrance.

Well even if it were on the Raiders team,Moss had the reputation of slacking off at times not to mention the run in with the law a few years ago - Both players are far from angels and both have some dark years in the past - it would be too close too call if you ask me,IMO right now both players would be on the bubble and depends what they do in the following years until retirement to determine of they are deserving or not.

Correct. Moss is a 1st year eligible no-brainer. Owens has pissed off enough people that he will have to wait at least one year. If Monk, Carter and Irvin had to wait then so will Owens.

Moss does have the edge right now because of his stats and record breaking year in 2007 but if T.O. helps the Bills to win a championship that could change the way people view T.O.

This is an important year for both players if they want to solidify thier place in NFL History,they both arent getting any younger and neither has a ring to show how important of a difference maker they were for thier teams although both guys came close to winning a ring and ironically both falling short by 3 points.

I do hate Owens but his performance against the Pats in SB 39 was nothing more than incredible as if he was the only guy out there making plays with a bust up ankle and almost pulled it off if McNabb had not decided to get nervous and drop his lunch all over the turf.

Moss has enough black marks in his past that he is no slam dunk first ballot HOFer. Like Irvin, they may make him wait a year. But it is nowhere as bad as all the black marks against TO.

I think T.O will not get in the hall of fame but Moss might if he keeps playing the way he has been playing for the past couple of years, but if they were to retire right now even though T.O has been playing for longer Moss would be the one known as a far better player and teammate than T.O would ever be.

At this point, I don't think either get in because of their problems (attitude and otherwise) and the fact that neither of them has a ring. After this year though, Moss is 1st ballot HOFer.

IMO What a good teammate and fan favorite a player is does not mean that much to the voters who vote the players in - Its what they do on the field overall is what truly counts.

I think we could look at a few players who were as$holes to the fans and teammates but are enshrined because they were a damn good player and did what it took to win or make a difference weekly.

If Raiders fans and teammates and Eagles fans and teammates were a deciding factor neither of these guys would EVER get in.
