I imagine he is. I think a vet pick-up (Huard?) would be the clip-board-holder's jock-mule.

Bill's moves at QB in the last 10 years have proven you must develop your own QB talent if at all possible and have them ready.

Brady was #2 after one year.
Cassel was #2 after one year.
O'Connell was #2 last year, and will be #2 this year.

If they bring in a vet, it'll be to mentor O'Connell, not to be the #2.

They have another QB on the roster. He looked good in limited time last preseason.

I happen to like Matt myself, but i get jumped on for some reason for mentioning him, so I just thought I'd throw it out there.

Two years in the system and looked great against the backups of other teams in limited action.
