I liked the last line in the reiss transcription.

They were asking if tried to get 59 and he said no its Guytons # now but than went on to say it 95 now Time for the Alter Ego.

He never seemed like he had weight issues or anything of the sort...I never remember him failing a conditioning run. So hopefully game shape will be an easier transition for him than others.

Do FA picked up mid season have to pass the run because if he did his conditioning would not be an issue than just game shape.

Not to mention going from where he was, to working part time at the UPS store. I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, but you've got to be a pretty strong person to not allow that to affect your noodle. Personally, I found the whole interview a bit depressing (down to earth, but depressing). Got high hopes though.

He owns a UPS store in Indianapolis if not multiple. So its not like he took a minimum wage gig or anything he is the owner.

Ding! Ding! Ding! we have a winner...exactly if the Texans didn't think you could cut it...that says alot to me. Rosie was not the same player after his unfortunate hip injury...he never regained that Speed and Burst he had off the Edge. All we are getting in him is just a body...don't expect our none-existant Pass Rush to improve with him and this stage in his career.

That may be true but if we get something close to what he was before he got hurt last year then he would help tremendously. I'm not saying he will be that, I have no clue. But last year's player was very good.

No it doesn't Rosie was playing at pretty high level last year before he got hurt. Maybe as good as he was playing since the hip injury. If we get that Rosie than he will be a huge help. Problem is if he were capable of that he probably wouldn't have been on the streets but maybe it was too soon at the begining of the year.

My bad, that makes a hell of a lot more sense than the way it sounded in the interview.

Agree completely. The issue with him after the off-season was his 2008 cap number and the uncertainty surrounding his injury. I'm sure the Patriots tried to get him back at a lower cap number, but he turned them down. As it turns out, that probably cost him a couple of million. It must hurt his pride a little to come back for four weeks at the veteran minimum. I can certainly understand his mixed emotions. If his achilles was still sore last summer, there's no way he could have had any kind of burst. Hopefully, he's got some of that back.
