Ralph Wilson Stadium is much, much larger than either Foxboro stadium or Gillette. Their current capacity is 73,967 and it was originally 80k. They actually have real seats too.
The similarities are both stadiums were closer to the field than the current Gillette which gives more sideline space between the field and the stands. Also, both stadiums had their "cheap" seats far closer to the field. My season tickets were in the 300 section in the old Foxboro stadium. The seats that are the same distance from the field today are the club seats. If I had the same seats in Gilette, not only would I be behind the club seats, but also above to levels of luxary boxes. That is a big reason why Gillette is far quieter than Foxboro Stadium was. The fans are far away from the field.
