Default Ty Law...how is it sitting at home...

with no income to "feed your family?"

Pretty sad that even the Dolphins didn't want him.

I think there are a few teams that want him just don't want to meet his demands.

I guess he would rather have no income than some income. Must be nice to live that kind of lifestyle.

Probably sitting there munching a bag of Fritoes at 240lbs wondering why he asked for so much money.

I can understand his holding firm. He obviously has set a dollar amount on how much he is willing to punish his body. He wont go thru it for vet min when he got paid a ridiculous sum to do it in the past. I mean how much would you be willing to do your job for half of the pay you used to get?

Personnally I am not sure if the vet min and rookie min would be enough for me to put my body thru the punishment these guys do. Well I guess it is but it is close.

The guy has 3 SB rings and a ton of money. And I can forgive the way he left I still loved watching the guy play and he was one of the cornerstones of the dynasty

i wouldn't expect him to play for the vet min but not what he asked for. If he doesn't want to take the pounding, then retire. I can respect that (not that he cares what i think)

One of my all-time favorite Patriots. But I wish he wasn't such a greedy sum*****, he could still be useful to this team.

As a rookie, I can't see somebody not willing to do that. You would have played and practiced for ten or more years at that point for the opportunity, plus you have no money in your wallet at that point in your life.

As a vet who has made enough money that he and his children will never have to work a single day, then no, the vet minimum is probably not worth the punishment and risk of permanent injury. At that point I can understand not playing for more unless you've either invested poorly (Ted Johnson, perhaps?) or love the game so much that you could care less about the money (Tedy Bruschi).

Anyone watch Law's last couple of years? The guy could get taken deep anytime anywhere. Think Deltha O'Neal vs. San Diego earlier this year.

Chris
