All this means is it's going to be more fun to bet on the NFL this year. I already have $20 on the Pats +2 this week.

Is that really the line? I hadn't seen it yet. I actually think since so many in the Jets organization are familiar with Cassel, there's less chance of him pulling any surprises.

Still, that line includes the 3 point adjustment for the home team, so Vegas thinks the Pats are still 1 point better on a neutral field. We'll see.

Don't you kind of wish you'd waited a week when you could have gotten them at 20-1?

Think about this for a second:

Pats + living legend Tom Brady = 7:2 odds
JEST + living legend Brett Favre = 15:1 odds
Pats + "who's that?" Matt Cassel = 20:1 odds

Which of these actually surprises you more?

Who Cares? We were the favorites to win it all last year. How did that work out for us?
