What do you mean? He was supposed to automatically be a full-time starter next year, adding competition to the spots of RB, WR, CB, KR, and backup QB.

This will be a bitter pill to swallow for those who had already made Woodhead expendable and penciled in Demps as our new HOF KR specialist and Sproles clone

Atleast this means most likely Woody's back. I like the four man rbbc of Ridley, Vereen, Woodhead, Bolden anyway.

Not a good sign. At all. I wonder if he somehow realized over the last few months that pro ball is not for him, because no way he'll make a fraction of the same $$$ in track.

Agree that the 4 RB's currently on roster are just fine. It was that extra burst that Demps might have provided in the backfield and on KR that had myself and many others here intrigued.
