The Patriots may have taken care of business Monday night with a 42-14 win over the Texans, but it definitely didn't come easy for one of their top corners.

Cornerback Aqib Talib was injured during the game with what appeared to be a hip injury and left the game in the second quarter and didn't return.

The play occurred in the closing minutes of the second quarter as he was diving to attempt an interception to close out the first half.  He landed awkwardly on his hip, and after staying down for a couple of minutes he was able to leave the field under his own power.

While he didn't take the field in the second half, the good news is he was spotted on the sideline after the injury - which is a positive sign.  Typically when guys are seriously hurt they're generally in the locker room.  That wasn't the case with Talib.

It was a physical game all the way around with Alfonzo Dennard and Kyle Arrington also getting a bit nicked up during the win.  They're about to face another physical team next Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers, so it will definitely be something to watch this week.
