2008 Patriots Offseason:

It appears that Senator Arlen Specter wants an independent investigation of the Patriots’ taping of opposing coaches’ signals.

The Boston Herald released a Patriots apology on Wednesday, with “Sorry Pats” & “Our Mistake” posted on the front and back cover of the newspaper.

The Patriots apparently tried to trade up to the fifth spot, with the intent to take linebacker Vernon Gholston who was selected by the Jets with the 6th overall selection but were turned down by the Kansas City Chiefs.
