Heading into the bye week, the coaching staff obviously has to take a hard look at the quarterback position as the Patriots try to move forward coming off of Sunday’s loss in Germany.

Frustration is starting to set in out in Buffalo, and it appears one domino fell on Tuesday after Monday night’s surprising loss against the Broncos.

Mac Jones’ benching on Sunday likely signals a change coming at quarterback when the team eventually takes the field again, with the only question being who that might ultimately be.

The Patriots are apparently cleaning out some bad apples as they get set to embark on their final seven games of 2023.

It pains me to watch the team play the way they did in Frankfurt.  Watching this game, I have never sworn at the TV as much as I did today.  These are my observations from today’s game.

One takeaway from Sunday’s loss to Indianapolis in Frankfurt, Germany, is that the New England Patriots certainly don’t appear to have lost any faith in head coach Bill Belichick, at least if what we saw overall is any indication.

Obviously, today’s game is certainly a big one for the New England Patriots, especially given all the discussion surrounding Bill Belichick’s future.

Belichick spoke to the media Friday morning, and while he admitted he’s “running on fumes,” he says he and his team will make the most of this unique opportunity of being in Germany, while hopefully playing their best game on Sunday.

This week we take the trek across the pond and play in Frankfurt Germany.

There are rumors that Bill Belichick could be fired if the team loses on Sunday. Even Mike Reiss of ESPN isn’t totally discounting that one.
