This week I will start my New England Patriots team analysis on the running backs. As a whole, the group performed very considering there were limited holes to run through. The poor play of the offensive line limited what the running backs could do.
Now that we have regurgitated the end of the 2022 season we can start to look at the reasons why the season was in such turmoil, what can be done to address those problems, and the turnover of personnel!
The tumultuous 2022 season comes to an end in Orchard Park. I expected the Bills to come out on fire with all the hype about Damar Hamlin’s recovery. They didn’t disappoint.
Here is an abbreviated Bills preview. This is a must-win for the Patriots if they want their season to continue with a playoff game.
You can’t start a Preview of the upcoming contest with the Buffalo Bills without addressing what happened on Monday Night.
Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins was as satisfying a win as the Patriots have given us this year.
Here we are in week 17 and both the Patriots and Dolphins are relevant when it comes to fighting for a playoff spot.
In Matt Judon’s post-game press conference, he emphatically stated that “We did not quit”. I was impressed by the Patriots’ comeback near victory against a very good Bengals team.
The Patriots are facing one of the better teams in the NFL this week the Cincinnati Bengals. They are the defending AFC champions and narrowly lost the Super Bowl 23-20. Their Offense is ranked #10 and is one of the better units in the league.
The Patriots, uncharacteristically for Bill Belichick-coached teams, played scared and made unforced mistakes in Sunday’s loss against the Raiders.
The Patriots are at the Raiders in Las Vegas this week. Coming off the win Monday Night against the Cardinals the Patriots have some momentum.
This was not a pretty game. Players dropping left and right for both the Patriots and Cardinals.
The Cardinals present a game the Patriots could win. Their Defense is one of the worst in the league giving up 26.8 points per game (31), allowing 356.2 yards per game, and Expected Points Added (20).
It was a bad look on Thursday night. The Patriots embarrassed themselves in the 24-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The frustration is starting to show as Mac Jones and Kendrick Bourne spouted off during the game and in the locker room.
I still can’t believe the Jets actually kicked it to Marcus Jones with 26 seconds left in the game. If they just kick it out of bounds, the Patriots probably would have kneeled down and gone on to Overtime.
