New England Patriots special teamer Cody Davis joined numerous others over social media this week to pay tribute and remember college football head coach Mike Leach, who passed away Monday at 61.
Davis played four seasons under Leach at Texas Tech from 2009-2012, earning two Second-team All-Big 12 selections during his junior and senior seasons. He finished his Texas Tech career with 49 starts, including 22 consecutive starts at safety, and led the team in tackles during his junior year.
Over the last three seasons, Davis has been a part of the Patriots special teams unit but is currently on season-ending injured reserve after sustaining a knee injury in Week 6.
On Wednesday, Davis shared a post over Instagram featuring photos and wrote down his personal favorite Mike Leach memories.
