The New England Patriots landed quarterback Mac Jones with the 15th overall pick during the first round of Thursday nights NFL Draft.
Over his college career, Jones started 17 games for the Crimson Tide, most notably all 13 during his junior season.
In those 17 games, Jones passed for 6,126 yards for 56 touchdowns to just seven interceptions.
During his final season at Alabama in 2020, Jones completed 77.4 percent of his passes for 4,500 yards with 41 touchdowns and just four interceptions, helping the football program win its 18 national championship.
In the national championship, his final collegiate game, Jones threw for 464 yards and 5 touchdowns against Ohio State.
