Sunday night marked the beginning of Passover for those of the Jewish faith and New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman shared a special message to all who are celebrating over Instagram.
“Wishing everyone a Happy Passover! The first pic is from my first time in Israel. It’s significant because Passover honors the escape of Jews from Bondage to Freedom. Lots of people of all walks of life are looking for that very same freedom now, so it’s important to be kind to everyone and live with humility and patience for all.”
The first photo features Edelman visiting the Western Wall in Jerusalem during a past trip to Israel while he also explains the funny explanation to his second photo in the posting, an image of Bill Belichick during a past NFL Combine.
“The second pic is of Bill looking for the Afikoman, a fun tradition where you hide the Matzah (unleavened bread) and have the kids looking for it and a prize. Looks like Bill found it early.”
