The New England Patriots won their fourth in five games on Sunday in Los Angeles against the Chargers to return to .500 at 6-6 for the first time since week four of the 2020 season.
The Patriots 45-0 shutout victory was the Chargers worst blowout defeat in the history of their franchise and was the second largest win in Patriots history, trailing the 2009 season’s 59-0 win over the Tennessee Titans.
In the Bill Belichick era, the Patriots moved to 27-5 vs. rookie quarterbacks overall and have won 16 of their last 17.
