Rob Gronkowski may no longer be making an impact on a football field, but it remains business as usual in the community helping others.

On Wednesday, Gronk and his brothers traveled to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland Maine to spend time with the patients and donate a $25,000 check.

“We saw about a dozen kids, to put a smile on their face meant a lot,” Gronkowski said of the visit. “To see them come up and joy, cheers of joy, just have a blast, talk to them, have them ask questions about sports, it was awesome to see and awesome to put a smile on the kid’s faces.”

Check out the full CBS News report from Gronk’s visit in the tweet below.

The good deeds didn’t stop there, Gronk also hosted his annual kids camp last weekend and shared a recap of the event over Instagram.

The kids also asked some tough questions.

Despite his playing days coming to an end, Gronk keeps finding new ways to put smiles on faces.
