MUST SEE VIDEO: Rob Gronkowski Visits Fan Waiting For Heart And Kidney Transplant

While the 2018 off season for Rob Gronkowski has been filled with rumors about his future or dancing with Shaq in Miami, Gronk continues to also make time to help inspire and fulfill wishes for those battling with life challenges in New England.
Earlier this week, Gronkowski visited Massachusetts General Hospital for a surprise visit with die hard Patriots fan Lauren Meizo to grant her wish that she could meet the star tight end while she waits for both a heart and kidney transplant.
Meizo posted the following video to YouTube in the hopes Gronkowski would see her story.
On Monday, Rob and his brother Gordie arrived at her room with flowers, a teddy bear, an autographed Pats jersey, and an Ice Shaker. The three hung out and chatted for nearly an hour as Lauren shared her memorable day with the Gronk’s on her Facebook page afterwards.
Speaking with the Boston Herald’s Olivia Vanni, Meizo said “It was incredible. He was so down to earth! My nerves were gone once we started talking. It was a dream come true.”
Unfortunately Meizo is still awaiting her transplants after nearly 85 days in the hospital; “I’m at the top of the list, that’s all I know. They say that (I’m) the next. Or should I say, they smile when I asked if I’m next. The doctors, that is.”
