For anyone who uses social media frequently, they understand the “trolling” and smack talk opposing fanbases constantly say via Twitter or Facebook. With the Patriots Super Bowl losers, things have gotten a bit testy as rivals try to kick the team when their down.

Even some of the games best players have gotten the brunt of internet trolling and on Sunday former Patriots linebacker Willie McGinest decided to “lay the hammer down” on somebody who was talking smack to him in regards to his old teams success.

Your the dumbest person ever, slap yourself then hit yourself in the head with a hammer dumb ass! https://t.co/dAQXFTFMsJ

Sheesh that escalated quickly.

Its no sack of Peyton Manning or a goal line stop of Edgerrin James but there goes Willie McGinest, continuing to defend the New England Patriots in retirement.
