While the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals NFC West rivalry may not be particularly interesting to Patriots fans, a subtle reference to Malcolm Butler’s game-winning interception may catch some eyes.
On Twitter Thursday night before the Seahawks and Cardinals squared off on “Thursday Night Football,” the Arizona Department of Transportation found a rather creative way to troll the Seahawks for their stunning Super Bowl loss three years ago, which of course occurred in Arizona at University of Phoenix Stadium.
Headed to #Seahawks vs #AZCardinals tonight? On your drive, be sure to make good decisions and pass carefully. U don't want another car, like a Jeep Patriot, for example, to cut you off and end your drive right before you reach your destination. That would be awful. #BeRedSeeRed pic.twitter.com/QlSEql1CBp

The Jeep Patriot, obviously references the Patriots, while the “cut you off” refers to Malcolm Butler jumping in front of Ricardo Lockette for the game sealing interception to end their drive and the Super Bowl.
Unfortunately for the Arizona DOT and the Cardinals, the Seahawks got the last laugh with a 22-16 victory but any reference to the Patriots Super Bowl victory’s deserves some recognition.
