After spending his bye week far from the practices fields of Gillette Stadium vacationing in Costa Rica, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returned to New England already focused in on the second half of the 2017 season that awaits him in Denver this upcoming Sunday.

Brady took to Instagram on Tuesday with the following photograph and the straightforward caption of “Back at it…#firefocus”

The Patriots head into Sunday’s matchup with the Broncos as heavy favorites, with many oddmakers having the spread between 7-9.5 points, which would be the highest for any visiting team entering Denver for the first time in nearly 30 years.

Coming off of a bye, the Patriots have gone 12-5 during head coach Bill Belichick’s tenure, but are just 4-3 in their last seven post-bye games. They lost 31-24 to the Seahawks in Foxboro in their first game after the bye last season.

Brady looks to improve upon his historically bad numbers in Denver, compiling a dismal 3-7 road record vs the Broncos since 2001 (including playoffs). The good news, the Patriots won the most recent meeting in Denver last season by a score of 16-3.
