On Sunday, the New England Patriots square off in their first AFC East divisional game of 2017 against the rival and surprising 3-2 New York Jets.
On social media Friday, quarterback Tom Brady shared his rising emotions for gameday with a photo of himself from 2015 grimacing angrily at former Jets linebacker Quinton Couples with the caption “We’re ready #Sunday”
Brady, who missed practice time this week while dealing with an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder said during media availability Thursday, “I’ll be there Sunday. Don’t worry about that. I’ll be there.”
With a win, the Patriots would gain sole possession of first place in the division. The Patriots have won five of their last six meetings against the Jets and 10 of the last 12 overall.
