Former wide receiver Andrew Hawkins didn’t last very long in Foxborough, choosing to instead retire from the NFL two months into signing a one-year deal with the New England Patriots.
On July 25 2017, Hawkins formally announced his retirement through social media just one day prior to the official start of 2017 Training Camp.
On Wednesday, Hawkins decided to poke a little fun at himself for the brief tenure with an appropriate GIF tweet from an episode of “The Simpsons”.
