On Tuesday the official start of free agency began across the NFL, and for tight end Martellus Bennett, it meant the end of his time as a New England Patriot.
Following the trade for former Indianapolis Colt Dwayne Allen to be the Patriots new number two tight end on the depth chart, it all but assured Bennett would be moving on to a new franchise.
Taking to social media Thursday, Bennett shared some goodbye messages with fans.
