Week 3 NFL Television Coverage and Odds

For the second time in three weeks the New England Patriots will be on prime time television. That means out of town Pats fans who drew a line in the sand and refused to fork over money for the Sunday Ticket, which indirectly funds Roger Goodell’s salary, will be able to see their favorite team in high def from their living room couch.

Here is a preliminary list of all the Week 3 NFL games and their network broadcast coverage. CBS has the double header for week three. The New England area will receive Denver at Cincinnati early, followed by Pittsburgh at Philadelphia for the two AFC games. Fox will predictably televise an NFC East game; this time it is Washington at New York.

NFC games rule from thereafter with Chicago at Dallas playing on Sunday night on NBC, followed by Atlanta at New Orleans Monday night on BSPN. Get your popcorn ready, there are plenty of interesting matchups.

Please keep in mind that local affiliates can request a change of the game that the network has initially assigned to their market, and that those requests are almost always granted. There will almost undoubtedly be a handful of changes in some local markets between now and Sunday.
