In a report first filed to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, it was announced on Sunday that Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will announce his retirement from the NFL on Monday.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady followed up the news with a Facebook post dedicated to his friend and rival whom he matched up with 17 times with from 2001-2016 in both the regular and post seasons. Their five playoff meetings are the most by any two quarterbacks in NFL history, Manning took home a 3-2 edge.
