Reid: Chiefs Had Headset Problems, But They Were Minor
David Butler II - USA TODAY Sports
The Chiefs media was checking to see if there was any additional explanations for Kansas City’s loss to New England on Saturday during, asking head coach Andy Reid if there were any communication issues during the game.
Reid told the media on Sunday there were some issues that he explained were in the first half, but he said they were minor and didn’t seem to believe it was anything out of the ordinary.
“Just a little bit from coach to quarterback,” said Reid when asked about it on Sunday. The coach to quarterback headset was cutting in and out just a little bit, not much though. It wasn’t bad.”
Reid was asked about his past experiences at Gillette Stadium earlier in the week and didn’t question Bill Belichick or their integrity, calling Belichick “honest” and that he didn’t believe there was any reason for concern.
Kansas City lost to the Patriots 27-20 in the AFC Divisional round of the playoffs.
