As the New England Patriots get set to defend their Super Bowl title in the NFL playoffs, two die hard fans and local hip hop artists released a new “pump up” song that has caught fire over the internet since its release this past Sunday.
The name is “Champion (Patriots Anthem)” by Brockton MA native Brandon Cappiello (22) and Randy Lo of Easton MA. (also 22) Cappiello, who goes by a variation of his last name Capp, was quoted telling The Brockton Enterprise, “The song embodies, ultimately, that being a champion is being a Patriot…This is going to be the Patriots anthem.”
According to a story by Boston FOX TV affiliate WFXT, the song “had more than nearly 40,000 views on Facebook in two days and was featured on several local radio stations.”
If you are interested in purchasing the song, it is available for download HERE. But for now, check out the music video below.
