For the third time in his career and second time this season, New England Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski was voted the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week on Wednesday morning.
Gostkowski hit the game winning, 54 yard field goal against the New York Giants in the final minutes this past Sunday, and in doing so, passed Adam Vinatieri for the most field goals made in franchise history at 264.
In 2015, Gostkowski remains a perfect 21 for 21 on field goal attempts and 34 for 34 on extra point attempts. He continues to add to his NFL record of extra points made, which now stands at 445 consecutive in a row.
