Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is a pretty smart guy both on and off the field.

On the gridiron, the veteran tight end has become one of the most dynamic and exciting players in the game, knowing how to bait defenders and get open to grab passes from Tom Brady, but it’s his off the field brilliance that is certainly worth noting.

Gronkowski is working with Capital One to promote his new #Gronkonomics campaign, helping fans learn how to save money. For those who have followed Gronk’s story in recent years, the tight end recently revealed that he hasn’t spent any of the money he’s earned from the NFL, and instead lives off of his endorsements. That goes against the persona many people have, and it seems like fans in New England could certainly learn a lot from him.

For those who want to, you can check out his Facebook and Twitter pages to get savings tips direct from Gronk, and help you on your way to becoming a better saver.
