On an afternoon where the Patriots’ offense scored every time they were on the field, it was no surprise when they ended up tying another record during their win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

The Patriots finished the afternoon with 35 first downs, tying that same previous franchise-best total they accomplished in a win over the Broncos back on October 7, 2012.

They converted 19 through the air along with 12 on the ground, as well as four as a result of penalties by the Jaguars.  Here’s a quick rundown of who accounted for all those times the Patriots moved the chains:

RECEIVING FIRST DOWNS:

Julian Edelman: 4
Danny Amendola: 4 (1 touchdown)
Rob Gronkowski: 4
James White: 2
Keshawn Martin: 2 (1 touchdown)
Scott Chandler: 2
LeGarrette Blount: 1

RUSHING FIRST DOWNS:

LeGarrette Blount: 7 (3 touchdowns)
Dion Lewis: 3 (1 touchdown)
Tom Brady: 2

QUICK NOTES: Rob Gronkowski’s four catches all went for first downs, and the veteran tight end finished the afternoon with three out of his four receptions going for over 20 yards, including on that went for 43… Danny Amendola caught all five of his targets from Brady on Sunday, with four of them going for first downs including his touchdown… Two out of Keshawn Martin’s catches also moved the chains, with Martin also accounting for one of Brady’s  touchdowns… Scott Chandler only had two receptions Sunday, but both of them moved the chains for New England.
