It appears that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may potentially miss time this season after all.

According to ESPN.com, Brady is reportedly open to accepting some form of suspension, but only if it stems from failing to cooperate with the NFL and not for admitting to the Wells report findings.  Up to this point Brady had seemed steadfast at avoiding any type of suspension, but it seems that he’s willing to finally concede provided he’s cleared of any wrongdoing as it relates to deflating footballs.

This comes on the heels of the two sides being forced into settlement talks and according to the report, that discussions on Brady’s attempt to overturn his four-game suspension have gone “nowhere” at this point.

Brady had planned on being in  New York for this morning’s federal court hearing, but instead he’s currently in West Virginia participating in joint practices with the New Orleans Saints.  The Patriots have two joint sessions with the Saints today and tomorrow before traveling to New Orleans as the two will play their exhibition game Saturday night at 7:30pm.
