Rob Gronkowski has been a big supporter of Tom Brady during the ongoing DeflateGate mess in recent months, expressing on several occasions about how he feels of Brady’s treatment during the investigation.

However, any feelings he may have against the league appear to have been recently put aside after FoxSports.com reported that the veteran tight end will be appearing in an upcoming promotional spot for the NFL for Sunday night’s Hall of Fame game between the Vikings and Steelers.

The commercial is reportedly centered around his family, with Gronkowski getting ready for game day with his family around him and is themed, “Football is Family”.

Interestingly enough, the commercial was apparently shot back on July 7th, weeks before Brady’s appeal was denied.  That makes you wonder if Gronkowski knew then what he knew now, whether or not he would have participated.

For now fans will be able to catch a glimpse of him cooking in the kitchen and playing a little Madden in the living room when the spot finally airs.

New England’s own first preseason is next Thursday night at Gillette Stadium.
