The NFL has announced that a decision has been made regarding Sunday’s upcoming games, and that there will not be any games played this weekend.
In a statement released by Commissioner Paul Tagliabue, he felt it was more important to reflect on Tuesday’s tragedies that took place in New York City, as well as Washington DC and Pennsylvania.
“We in the NFL have decided that our priorities for this weekend are to pause, grieve, and reflect,” said Tagliabue.
“A decision on whether to re-schedule this weekend’s games – is under consideration.”
