According to Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald, the Patriots have reached an agreement with Kyle Dugger on an extension, with the veteran receiving a 4-year, $58 million deal which could be worth up to $66 million, including $32.5 million guaranteed.

According to SI's Albert Breer, Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is expected to make his Top 30 visit to the Patriots this week, although the exact day isn't known. McCarthy is only one of three QBs reportedly set to visit Foxboro, which follows visits by both Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels, with Daniels reportedly slated to visit Monday night into Tuesday.

According to NFL Media reporter Ian Rapoport, LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels is set to visit with the Patriots on Monday. Daniels follows a visit by North Carolina QB Drake Maye, who is in town on Friday to also meet with New England.

According to Albert Breer, North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye is expected to visit the New England Patriots on Friday. This will be the third meeting between Maye and the Patriots as they also reportedly spent time with him at the scouting combine as well as ahead of his Pro Day

Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reported Sunday that, “Dugger remains dissatisfied with the transition tag, a one-year, $13.2 million placeholder that will keep him here in New England. As of late this week, he had not signed the tag.”

Former Patriots running back Damien Harris announced his retirement on Monday, with the 27-year-old making the announcement on his Instagram page. "Today, I am grateful I have found the strength to walk away from the game I love so much," he wrote. He also praised former coach Bill Belichick. "Being coached by the 2 greatest head coaches of all time in Nick Saban and Bill Belichick are all just a small part of what God has done in my life with the game of football," wrote Harris.

According to NFL Reporter Aaron Wilson, Patriots free agent defensive back Myles Bryant has agreed to terms with the Texans.

Chiefs defensive back L'Jarius Sneed, who the Patriots were previously rumored to be interested in, is apparently headed to the Titans after Tennessee agreed to terms on a trade. The Titans will reportedly surrender a 2025 3rd round pick along with a 2024 7th round pick.

Mike Garafolo reports that the Patriots are signing former Falcons and Chargers safety Jaylinn Hawkins. Terms of the deal were not yet disclosed, but it provides some additional safety help after Jalen Mills departed via free agency to the Giants this offseason.

According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Patriots free agent tackle Trent Brown has reportedly agreed on a 1-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals. Brown was among the last big names at that position left in free agency, and he anchors an offensive line that was in tough shape last season for Cincinnati.
